Ola Electric Charges Ahead with 20 GWh Axis Energy Storage Deal

Ola Electric is making a massive push into renewable infrastructure with its upcoming "Ola Mahashakti" energy storage platform, slated to launch on August 15. Through a strategic MoU with Axis Energy, the duo plans to explore deploying up to 20 GWh of energy storage by 2032. The partnership leverages Axis Energy's vast project pipeline—which already features 3,750 MW in grid-approved developments across Rajasthan and Andhra Pradesh—to deliver reliable, round-the-clock clean energy. As India prepares for an estimated 400 GWh of storage needs over the next decade, Ola's home-grown technology is positioning itself as a core foundation for the nation's evolving power grid and data centers.
